Fifty
This is my 50th article in 111 days, and it has gone by in an absolute whirlwind. It seems like yesterday that I first sat down at my computer and started typing out the words to welcome to my journey. And what a journey it has been so far.
I have learnt tons, and I have made even more mistakes. But no matter what, one thing has been constant at every step along the way:
I have loved every minute.
Now that’s not to say that there haven’t been challenges, of course there have.
Have I needed a break?
Yes.
Have there been times I didn’t want to write or do work?
Of course
But did I still turn up and get my head down?
Abso-bloody-lutely!
And this is because I associate a high level of importance to my work. One for me, but also for people that are following or part of my journey. Over time, these articles will be my map, the route I took on my journey. And it will be a great resource for people setting off on their own journey.
At least I hope so.
Now what; where do I go from here?
I’ve no idea, but I’m on my journey, putting one foot in front of the other and moving steadily along. And as long as I am enjoying the journey, I will keep going.
Because as Matthew McConaughey puts it:
The journey is the story; not the result!

And it’s so true. We all have a destination in mind, but if you can be open minded and willing to take some detours along the way, who knows where the journey the will take you. You’ll meet loads of cool people; experience things you didn’t imagine; and learn things you didn’t know you needed to learn.
So I would urge you to start your own journey, no matter what that may be. But keep going, and please use my ramblings as a place to guide or direct you if you need it.
