A few weeks ago, I made a commitment to actively promote my journey by 1st May in my leap of faith.
That is today.
So this post will be the gateway to my friends, family, acquaintances or anyone else that happens to stumble across this article. I’ll start very candidly, there is no expectation for you to read on, I can’t see who has and who hasn’t so feel free to duck out now, and we’ll never talk of it again.
That said, if you’ve got to here, there must be a touch of curiosity…
Maybe you want to start sharing your art, or maybe you’ve been wanting to write a book, or maybe you just want to use your time more efficiently and effectively. If any of that speaks to you, then please read on and have a look around the site or check out my YouTube channel.
So what will this site bring you:
Learning
An investment in knowledge pays the best interest
Benjamin Franklin
I’m a huge advocate in terms of continued learning.
So far, I’ve read 15 non fiction books; I’ve taken 7 online Skillshare classes; listened to countless hours of podcasts; and watch more YouTube videos that I care to think about. I’ll highlight the key lessons I’ve learnt, helping you to make informed decisions on what resources you should be using.
Systems
You do not rise to the level of your goals.
You fall to the level of your systems.
James Clear
I have created and refined a number of systems to increase my productivity and start creating my digital content.
I’ll guide you through these systems, showing you how they work and the support they can provide. This will help you to build your own systems to work for you. I’m not saying that mine are perfect, but they work for me and I am constantly adapting them to make them stronger.
Tools
You cannot mandate productivity, you must
provide the tools to let people become their best.
Steve Jobs
Tools are a crucial part of your systems.
Your favourite To Do List app is a tool, but making To Do Lists is a system. So, I’ll show you some of my favourite tools and how they work for me. Again, there are loads of digital or analogue tools out there, so it’s a case of finding the right tool for you and your systems.
But remember, Systems > Tools
So, if for any reason you find my articles or videos interesting or informative, feel free too pop back whenever, follow me on social media, or sign up to my newsletter. If you want to share it with others then that would be great, but if not that’s really not a problem either.
So I hope you enjoy my work, and if you have any interest let’s catch up for a coffee and a chat (when we can!).
Who knows where it will take us….
