The title says all you need to know about this book…
You may not know it, but you are a badass. This book will guide you through the reasons why you are, and how you can harness the power it brings. Ultimately leading you to the mother load of self confidence.
Below are 11 points parts that really stood out for me;
1. Believe everything you want is available
All you want is out there, but you need to take decisive action to get it. It’s not just enough to work hard for it. You have to believe that you will get it and the law of attraction will help bring it to you.
2. Focus on your identity
What defines you? Focus on that, and move past any fears you have. Work hard for your goals, it will be difficult, but it will be worth it. You need to have faith in yourself and your journey, what you want is already out there.
3. Everyone’s self perception is rubbish
That’s good to know, I thought it was just me. But actually, not many people have a great opinion of themselves. Confidence is king. Trust that you are the only you there will ever be, and unleash yourself on the world.
Shower yourself in positive affirmations. “I can do this, I will do this.” Every thought of yours need to be positive. This positive mindset will help shift everything that you see and do, and bring your closer to your goals.
4. Ignore what others think
Concentrate on being you, rather than listening to other people. If you focus on your identity (I am a writer, YouTuber etc) and always keep your integrity, then you will get there. Give yourself the confidence to shine.
5. What is your purpose, what is your gift?
What positive impact can you have on others? Find it, and let it grow. We are all on a unique journey, so don’t let others or their journey push you off yours.
Trust yourself, get started, and always try your best!
6. Don’t get in your own way
Don’t create artificial friction in your life, there is already enough there without you. By focussing on the positive, and acting as if it is already true, then your goals will become more achievable.
7. Reconnect with your inner child
Do what makes you lose track of time. Keep being enthusiastic and having fun all of the time and you’ll see a difference in your work. Have fun and follow your dreams!
8. Make your goals manageable
There’s always enough time for you, but let’s tailor our work to fit our time constraints. There’s no point in wanting to write 1,000 words in 10 minutes, it’s not going to happen. So treat time with respect, and set your goals accordingly.
Think about prioritising your work and employing other systems to manage your time effectively.
9. Fear will always be there
But…it is our choice whether we give it any attention. We choose to be fearful, so why not choose to be confident instead. By being confident we can conquer our fear, and we can see it as an exciting challenge to overcome.
10. Make no nonsense decisions
Don’t compromise; if you want something, go get it! Believe in yourself wholeheartedly, and you will achieve your goal. Be relentless in your quest. The only failure is quitting!
Finally, what I would imagine to be he most mentioned phrase in the whole book…
11. Love yourself
If you can’t love you, how can anyone else? You are amazing, and can achieve all that you want to. So go out there, be dligiant but respectful in your work, and trust in the process. You will reach your goals. Maybe not in the time or way that your originally planned. But you will get there.

Now a slight disclaimer, this book was recommended to me by my wife when I was having a creativity crisis (it won’t be the last!). But this tough love book was exactly what I needed.
I know I can do this, and I know I will do this.
I just need to trust my identity, love myself and put in a shed ton of work.
If you are having or have had self doubt then I would recommend this book. More importantly, if you have not doubted yourself at some point, then you definitely need this book, as your time is coming!!
